Remember be upfront with them about when you can work and don't commit to more than you are able to. At the same time it pays to be open-minded about the kind of jobs you might do (remember you won't be doing it forever, and on the plus side you can get great insight into a range of industries). I found that the more unpleasant the job, the better it tends to pay.
